In recent times, the Red Cross (who are responsible for approximately 40% of the U.S. blood supply) have announced that their stock has been reduced by more than half. Whereas normally they would be able to provide for five days worth of supply, this has been cut to less than two days. The goal of the ARF is to help mitigate this shortage by organizing a blood drive to help recover from the loss of blood donations once the Corona virus issue has stabilized. In doing so, we will be partnering up with the Red Cross and temples (in Frisco and Allen) to run a blood drive.
